I'm sorry for being behind on posting. Part of my excuse is I haven't actually been running due to my knee injury. The good news is I am in PT for it and should be back to running in the next week or two.

Now for the fun stuff! I have already contacted the winner of the SPIbelt and it is on it's way to her. Congratulations to Linda Holzer! I hope you enjoy your belt as much as I do mine. I can fit a ton of stuff in it when I go running and hiking. It easily fits my fuel, keys, ID, and phone.

And once again thank you to SPIbelt for providing the prize. Living in Texas I love that SPIbelt is a Texas company and their products are made in the U.S.A.! I encourage everyone to check out their website, Facebook page and Twitter feed.

My name is Amanda, I am a runner and a full time student. I started this blog to share my experiences training for and running races as well as coordinating virtual races. I hope to use my blog and races to inspire others to get out there and run. In March 2013 I started my first "virtual" 5K and plan to host many more in the coming months. I want this to be a fun, safe place to share and inspire. The name of my blog was inspired by the fact that even when I am out running alone, I know I am not on my own. I have my online running buddies, husband, family and friends with me at all times.
