Tomorrow morning I will begin the 63 day program Insanity. This is something I have been wanting to try for a while and the timing just feels right. Along with my start back into running which I hope I will be doing in the next few weeks, I am going to be posting my progress with Insanity here. What convinced me to take the leap to try it is seeing people I know and people on fitness forums having success with the program. It is always nice to see people who are not being paid share their stories. BeachBody has a great following so I am excited to begin this program. Tomorrow morning will be my first fit test. I know this program will be a challenge, but that is what I am looking for. I will post tomorrow about my first day. I plan on being honest and open about my weight, measurements, how I am eating and how the workouts are going for me. I want to use this blog to show how an average person does with the program. Tomorrow I will be sharing my measurements and I will be uploading before and after pictures every two weeks. If you would like to check out Insanity or other BeachBody you can at their website.

    My name is Amanda, I am a runner and a full time student. I started this blog to share my experiences training for and running races as well as coordinating virtual races. I hope to use my blog and races to inspire others to get out there and run. In March 2013 I started my first "virtual" 5K and plan to host many more in the coming months.
